KATHMANDU: In a meeting on the sidelines of ongoing SAARC Summit, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina of faster implement of Teesta deal and Land Boundary Accord (LBA).
They met at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza in Kathmandu at around 3:15pm (local time) Wednesday after the inauguration and first session of SAARC Summit.
After the meeting, foreign secretary Shahidul Haq was talking to journalists.
During the parley, the two leaders discussed many bilateral issues, he added.
This is the second meeting of Hasina and Modi while their first meeting was held on the sidelines of UNGA in September last.
