DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Thursday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over nine points to stand at 4,642 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 138512with transaction at Tk 6,022 million. Of the issues traded, 185 advanced, 88 declined and 22 remained unchanged.

MJLBD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 336 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, BEXIMCO, BSRMSTEEL, GP, BXPHARMA,    BENGALWTL, AGNISYSL, DELTALIFE     and SUMITPOWER     .

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8725 by dropping over five points.

Out of the issues traded, 106 gained, 103 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
