DHAKA: Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCBL) on foreign remittance affairs. 

According to the agreement, BCBL can disburse remittance processed by Placid NK Corporation of USA which was received by SIBL through its all branches directly.

SIBL Managing Director Md Shafiqur Rahman and BCBL Managing Director Abu Sadek Md Sohel signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Social Islami Bank Deputy Managing Director Ehsanul Aziz, AMM Farhad and Yunus Ali and Bangladesh Commerce bank Senior Executive Vice-president SM Jahangir Aktar, Executive Vice-president Shamsuddin Ahmed and other officials among other attended in the program.

Besides, Placid NK Corporation Relationship Manager Faroque Helaly and other senior executives of both the banks were also present.
