Severe problem in PBL internet banking!

DHAKA: Internet banking service of Prime Bank Ltd apparently went out of order putting clients in massive sufferings.

Customers are getting almost no service though the bank charges a total of Tk 575 annually for internet banking services.

Several customers alleged verbally and over telephone to banglanews saying they contacted with the bank authorities but did not get any proper answers.

Kazi Rashidul Hasan, a customer of the bank, wrote to banglanews through an email, customers of Prime Bank have not been getting the internet banking service for three weeks; they can’t carry out transactions through internet.

The problems have not been resolved though they have talked to the bank’s customer care; even the bank authorities did not give any proper answer, alleged Rashidul.

On Tuesday, Rashidul forwarded the email, which he sent to banglanews, to Prime Bank and he, however, got reply from the bank.

The bank authorities informed him that fund transfer has been kept closed for system up-gradation and said sorry for his inconvenience.

The problem will be resolved within the shortest possible time, Rashidul was informed.

When banglanews tried to contact with the bank authorities for several times but declined to make any comment.

Earlier on August, Bangladesh Bank (BB) canceled mobile banking license of the bank for irregularities and mismanagement.

The central bank also asked the bank to return some Tk 25 crores, which was taken from the job seekers for recruiting at the Easy Cash.
