DHAKA: ‘Bangladesh Fashion Carnival-2014’, a five-day international fair of branded clothing and fashion products is going to be started from Wednesday at city’s Emmanuell’s Banquet Hall in Gulshan-1.
Sources told banglanews that about 40 companies from home and abroad are participating in the fest arranged by Freelancerz & Redcarpet Ltd.
Clothing (men/women), fashion wear, home textile, knitwear, Kurtas, Original Lawns, premium clothing, salwar-kameez, three-pieces, shawals, sherwanis, beauty aids, beauty products and equipment, fashion house, gift and novelty items, leather and leather products and other services will be displayed in the fair.
The exhibition will remain open for all from 10:00am to 9:30pm daily.
However, the organizers expecting a good number of visitors from entire South Asia in the fashion carnival keeping eyes on huge Eid-ul-Azha and Durga Puja shopping.
Referring to the salient features of the carnival, they also hoped that it would create an opportunity for both local and foreign participants to display their latest development and quality of products before potential buyers, leading to business transactions worth millions.
Moreover, this exhibition will also encourage local manufacturers and producers to export their goods in foreign markets, giving a big boost to the country’s export earnings, according to them.
