DHAKA: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) extended the deadline for submitting income tax returns for 2014-2015 FY by one month up to October 31.

Regarding the matter, NBR published a gazette notification on Monday.

NBR Senior Information Officer MA Momen confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier, National Board of Revenue (NBR) member Bashir Uddin Ahmed said that the time for submitting income tax return would be extended due to Durga Puja and Eid-ul-Azha vacations.

According to the previous declaration, the last date for submitting tax returns was September 30. Showing logical ground, NBR extends deadline of tax return submission every year.
