DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index (DSEX) shed over 15 points to stand at 5299 at 10:55am.

Trade deals stood at 18075 with volume of transactions at Tk 956 million.

Of the issues traded, 53 advanced, 147 declined and 35 remained unchanged.

BBS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 210 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 9912 by dropping over 47 points at about 11:01 am.

Out of the issues traded, 18 gained, 85 declined and 15 remained unchanged.
