DHAKA: Key share price index at both Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a daylong positive trend on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

However, DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, reached at 4,870.00 points by 2:35pm, starting from 4,765.75 points in the morning.

Besides, ABBANK topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 155 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, JAMUNAOIL, LAFSURCEML, UCBL, WMSHIPYARD, KEYACOSMET, SAPORTL, CITYBANK and BXPHARMA.

On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, also saw a positive trend round the day with its Selective Category Index, CSCX.

The index, which was in 1,070.00 points at 10:30am, reached up to 1,098.50 points while closing the day’s trading.
