DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Thursday.

 The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 18 points only to stand at 4,856 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 77899 with volume of transactions at Tk 2313 million.

Of the issues traded, 172 advanced, 97 declined and 41 remained unchanged.

QSMDRYCELL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 82 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders are FUWANGFOOD, RAKCERAMIC, SQURPHARMA, AGNISYSL, TUNGHAI, BXPHARMA, LAFSURCEM, KEYACOSMET and SAPORTL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9,102 by gaining over two points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 121 gained, 96 declined and 38 remained unchanged.
