DHAKA: Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury has been made the vice-chairman of Standard Bank Limited (SBL).

The SBL authorities made the statement through a press release on Saturday.

However, Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, a renowned businessman of Chittagong, is also the director of Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries along with Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

He, according to the press release, is also a member of International Business Forum.

Nevertheless, Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, hailed from the port city, earlier was a SBL executive committee member.
