DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing downward trend in share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the prime index Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over two points to stand at 4799 at 10:38 am.

Trade deals stood at 913 with transaction at Tk 29 million. Of the issues traded, 51 advanced, 63 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
   
MJLBD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk nine million having changed hands during the time.

Besides, Chittagong stocks’ Selective Categories Index climbed down to 8936 by dropping over eight points at 10:37am.

Out of the issues traded, 7 gained, 20 declined and 4 remained unchanged.
