DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall again in its price indices on Thursday, the first trading day of 2015.

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, gain over 76 points only to stand at 4,941 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 66983 with volume of transactions at Tk 2275 million.

Of the issues traded, 226 advanced, 58 declined and 24 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 159 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were MJLBD, AGNISYSL, BXPHARMA, CVOPRL, GP, IDLC, DESCO, SAPORTL     and ACTIVEFINE.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9,195 by gaining over 107 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 169 gained, 45 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
