DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index, shed over 39 points to stand at 4,902 at 13:12pm.

Trade deals stood at 32,518 with volume of transactions at Tk 1178 million.

Of the issues traded, 35 advanced, 225 declined and 32 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 154 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 9090 by dropping over 75 points at about 12:43pm.

Out of the issues traded, 30 gained, 142 declined and 19 remained unchanged.
