DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over two points to stand at 4,953 at 12:03pm.

Trade deals stood at 29346 with transaction at Tk 1246 million.

Of the issues traded, 123 advanced, 108 declined and 52 remained unchanged.

BBS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 113 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9213 by gaining over six points at 12:01pm.

Out of the issues traded, 82 gained, 62 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
