DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index, shed over four points to stand at 4,947 at 1:32pm.

Trade deals stood at 55585 with volume of transactions at Tk 2192 million.

Of the issues traded, 94 advanced, 151 declined and 59 remained unchanged.

BBS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 147 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 9185 by dropping over 20 points at about 1:41pm.

Out of the issues traded, 67 gained, 80 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
