DHAKA: Janata Bank Limited has recently appointed Hasan Iqbal, Afroza Gul Nahar and Hosneara Begum as its Deputy Managing Directors, said a press release Monday.

Hasan Iqbal, prior to his joining, was General Manager of Sonali Bank Limited. He started his career in Sonali Bank Limited in 1984.

Hailed from the Village Bhoag under Feni district, he secured first class in Master’s degree in Chemistry from Jahangirnagar University.

Moreover, Afroza Gul Nahar, prior to her joining, was General Manager of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation. She started her career in Bangladesh Krishi Bank in 1983 as a probationary Officer.

She, hailing from Lahiri village under Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon district, obtained Master’s degree in Agri-economics from Bangladesh Agriculture University.

Hosneara Begum, prior to her joining, was General Manager of Rupali Bank Limited. She started her career in Rupali Bank Limited as a probationary Officer.

Hailed from Damudda upazila of Shariatpur district, she obtained Master’s degree in Political Science from Dhaka University.
