DHAKA: Denmark’s Minister for Business and Growth Henrik Sass Larsen is scheduled to visit the country on March 17 to discuss bilateral trade facilitation and investment.

Danish ambassador to Bangladesh Hanne Fugl Eskjær disclosed the matter in meeting with commerce minister Tofail Ahmed at his secretariat office on Thursday.

Tofail Ahmed said, “Denmark is one of the closest friends and development partners of Bangladesh since the country’s independence.”

Denmark’s development cooperation DANIDA has also been working to eradicate poverty in Bangladesh and to fight the effect of climate exchange on the country, he added.
