DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Sunday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 82 points to stand at 4642 at 1:07pm.

Trade deals stood at 35205 with volume of transactions at Tk 1,099 million.

Of the issues traded, 16 advanced, 267 declined and 16 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 68 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8609 by dropping over 126 points at about 1:03pm.

Out of the issues traded, 12 gained, 169 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
