DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 14.07 points to stand at 4824.60 at 11:38 am.

Trade deals stood at 24,408 with transaction at Tk 802 million.

Of the issues traded, 139 advanced, 92 declined and 34 remained unchanged.

AAMRATECH topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 78.27 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8955.95 by gaining over 31.81 points at 11:43am.

Out of the issues traded, 97 gained, 35 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
