DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices recovering the early hours’ fall on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

However, DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, reached up to 4803.46 points by 1:47pm, starting from 4,787.90 points in the morning.

Trade deals stood at 49333 with transaction at Tk 1669.23 million.

Of the issues traded, 132 advanced, 108 declined and 64 remained unchanged.

ACI topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 97.82 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also saw upward trend with its Selective Category Index, CSCX, climbing up to 8927.17 by gaining over 28.68 points at 1:39pm.

Out of the issues traded, 90 gained, 91 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
