DHAKA: Key share price indices at both bourses-- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed positive trend on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

However, DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, reached at 4,802.00 points by 2:30pm, starting from 4,788.25 points in the morning.

Sunday’s top 10 gainers at the DSE were SPCL, BANGAS, RECKITTBEN, AMBEEPHA, ACIFORMULA, ACI, EASTRNLUB, WATACHEM, AGRANINS, and MARICO.

Nevertheless, SPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 131.73 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders of the major bourse were ACI, LAFSURCEML, SQURPHARMA, MJLBD, IDLC, ACIFORMULA, GP, AAMRATECH, and SINGERBD.

On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, also saw a positive trend after the day’s last bell despite of some falls with its Selective Category Index, CSCX.

The index, which was in 1,082.75 points at 10:30am, reached up to 1,085.50 points while closing the day’s trading.
