The much loved warming Pashmina shawls are there, Shalwar-Kamij, Kurta and many other lucrative handicrafts are also to be displayed online.

Pumposh Kashmiri Shawl Emporium, a business venture from Kolkata, is going to launch the online shop for the first time of this kind.

To bring the products of Kashimiri heritage within the reach of all potential customers across world is the motto of this new initiative of Pomposh, which is a nearly a century old business venture of India.

Sajad Pumposh, owner of Pumposh Kashmiri Shawl Emporium was talking with banglanews about the new venture.

Pomposh online shop will be launched in early April with the facility of payment in different currencies to make the customers get their desirable goods easy and quick, he said.

Renowned international distributing organisation “Gateway” will ship the purchased products at the door steps of the customers in any country across world, he added.

Initially the “Cash on Delivery” system will be introduced in Kolkata and very soon the service will be made available in other states of India, said Mr Sajad Pumposh.

The same service will be available in Bangladesh very soon, he said.

This service will not only facilitate the customers, but also will spread heritage of Kashmiri products around the world, said Sajad Pumposh.
