DHAKA:  Share price index at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed positive trend in early hours of trading on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the benchmark index of DSE, gained 19.56 points or 0.41 percent to reach 30508 at 12:08pm.

SPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 64.77 million having changed hands during the time.

Of the issues traded till then, 153 gained, 82 declined and 50 remained unchanged

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8846.77 by gaining over 28.76 points at 12:07pm.

CSCX, the key index of CSE, gained 8.13 points to stand at 8745.79, also at 11:35 am.

Of the issues traded till then, 91 gained 44 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
