Qatar Airways opens new office in Dhaka

DHAKA: Qatar Airways Dhaka office has moved to a larger, upgraded and purpose built, dedicated office space at SPL Western Tower on Bir Uttom Shawkat Ali Road in Tejgaon Industrial Area in city.

Passengers will now be able to visit and experience even greater comfort and more convenient booking services as part of the comprehensive Qatar Airways five-star experience, said a press release.

More than 200 distinguished guests from the local business community and travel trade attended the opening event, in presence of Bangladesh civil aviation and tourism minister Rashed Khan Menon and Qatar Airways vice-president Indian Sub-continent, Ihab Sorial.

Ihab Sorial said, “This is a one-stop sales, reservations and ticketing office at the most prestigious business centre in Dhaka”.

“With the new facility, we are taking a large step closer to our growing number of passengers and providing them with the strengths of our global network, while offering them the excellent levels of hospitality that we are renowned for worldwide.”

Qatar Airways has been flying to Dhaka since December 1995 and currently operates 10 weekly flights to the city from its state-of-the-art hub Hamad International Airport in Doha.
