DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall in its price indices on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 1.24 points only to stand at 4345.89 at the close of day’s trading. 

Trade deals stood at 101391 with volume of transactions at Tk 3676.87 million.

Of the issues traded, 125 advanced, 158 declined and 21 remained unchanged.

UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 456.86 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ACI, SQURPHARMA, MJLBD, IFADAUTOS, SHASHADNIM, GP, SAPORTL, SAIFPOWER and PHARMAID.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8090.85 by dropping over 36.22 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 81 gained, 126 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
