DHAKA: The National Trade Portal Project is underway in the commerce ministry with the objective of delivering an online accessible, logical, helpful window in to trade information and regulations by August this year.

A workshop led by Dr Andrew Grainger, a leading international trade expert, was held on April 7, to inform upon best international trade facilitation practice, share experiences and help reach consensus about the best ways forward.

Commerce Secretary, Hedayetullah Al Mamun, Masrur Reaz, Program Manager, Trade and Competitiveness, The World Bank Group, Trevor O’Regan and Chris Lewis Jones of the PM Group were also present among others.
