DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses---Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE)--is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Sunday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, shed over 33.81 points to stand at 4312.08 at 12:15pm.

Trade deals stood at 32095 with volume of transactions at Tk 1215.48 million.

Of the issues traded, 49 advanced, 183 declined and 36 remained unchanged.

UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 280.40 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8039.26 by dropping over 51.58 points at about 12:07pm.

Out of the issues traded, 36 gained, 98 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
