DHAKA: An agreement was signed between IFC and Eastern Bank Limited, Bangladesh, on project services on Wednesday.

Under this arrangement, capacity of small and medium enterprise clients will be developed while credit risk management will be improved, said a press release on Thursday.

Ali Reza Iftekhar, CEO and MD of Eastern Bank Limited and Giri Jadeja, Regional industry head of IFC, Asia, signed for their respective organizations.

Among others, Inessa Tolokonnikova, Mohammad Rehan Rashid, Ehsanul Azim, Parul Dudeja and Monzurul Huque from IFC and Mohammad Khurshid Alam of EBL were present at the signing ceremony, the release added.
