DHAKA: Japanese developer firm Creed Asia BD Company Limited (Bangladesh) will invest at Bashundhara Residential Area (R/A) in the city to a build a high rise building there.
Preliminarily, the Japanese firm in a joint venture with Dhaka-based developer company Jams Development Limited will build a 10-storyed luxurious “Creed Blessed Hill” building.
The matter was disclosed at a colorful ceremony at Pushpo Guchco Hall of International Convention City at Bashundhara R/A Friday evening.
Attending the function as chief guest, civil aviation and tourism minister Rashed Khan Menon inaugurated the construction works of ‘Creed Blessed Hill’, cutting tape.
Bashundhara Group chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, Myanmar ambassador to Bangladesh U Myo Myint Than, Jams Development Limited chairman M Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury, managing director M Shahadat Hossain, actors Ferdous Ahmed, Bidya Sinha Saha Mim and Mehazabien Chowdhury, among others, were present at the inauguration ceremony.
Addressing the function, the minister said that foreign investment is very necessary for the development of country and housing is one of the major sectors for such investment.
Investment in a pleasant environment at Bashundhara R/A will be fruitful for country’s development, the minister hoped.
Creed Asia has chosen Bashundhara R/A as a safe residential area to observe the market of housing sector in Bangladesh for future investment.
Located at north-southern side on road no. 6 and 7 of Bashundhara R/A, the 10-storey “Creed Blessed Hill” will be constructed on a land of 24 kathas. Size of apartments will be simplex – 1,725 square feet, simplex big – 3,325 square feet, and duplex – 3,400 square feet.
The building will accommodate about 200 people with different types of facilities including nearly 50 percent open space, garden, gymnasium, swimming pool, children’s playground, indoor games zone, multi-purpose room, barbeques zone, community space, 24-hour closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera monitoring, reception lobby, guest waiting room and fire escape.
However, one of the most attractive views of ‘Creed Blessed Hill’ is that the exterior will look like a total of four buildings standing together due to the building design plan.
