DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices recovering the early hours’ fall on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

However, DSEX, the Broad Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, reached up to 4120.70 points by 2:12pm, starting from 1004.27 points in the morning.

Trade deals stood at 92586 with transaction at Tk 2804.88 million.



Of the issues traded, 137 advanced, 129 declined and 38 remained unchanged.

BSRMLTD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 426.99 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also saw upward trend with its Selective Category Index, CSCX, climbing up to 7693.03 by gaining over 44.94 points at 2:08pm.

Out of the issues traded, 79 gained, 100 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
