DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 91.43 points only to stand at 4407.42 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 167226 with volume of transactions at Tk 7539.85 million.

Of the issues traded, 251 advanced, 45 declined and 13 remained unchanged.

KPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 339.47 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were UPGDCL, BSCCL, BEXIMCO, SPPCL, RAKCERAMIC, ACIFORMULA, SAIFPOWER, AFCAGRO and BARKAPOWER.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8304.38 by gaining over 150.08 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 179 gained, 47 declined and nine remained unchanged.
