DHAKA: Annual conference of National Bank Limited (NBL) Sylhet region managers was held at Sylhet regional office.

The conference was held on Friday, a press release, issued by NBL public relations officer (PRO) M Abdul Hamid Shohag said on Tuesday.

Managing Director and CEO of National Bank Limited Shamsul Huda Khan inaugurated the conference as chief guest while additional managing director of the bank M Badiul Alam was present as special guest.

In the release, Shamsul expressed his gratitude to the Board of Directors and thanked the managers and executives for the bank’s success.

He called for achieving more success in 2015 by dint of hard work and professional excellence.

The CEO also urged the bank managers and executives to uphold the concerted efforts for improvement of credit risk and credit management for enhancement of profitability of the bank.

For holding the top position of banking sector, NBL must increase their client service and properly use its human resources, he added.

High officials and managers of 18 branches in Sylhet region were also present at the conference.
