DHAKA: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith on Monday said the price of fuel oil would be coordinated with international market.

He came up with the assertion during a pre-budget discussion with leaders of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) at finance ministry in the afternoon.

In reply to a proposal of DCCI president Hossain Khaled on reduction of fuel oil price, the minister said that the price of fuel oil would be coordinated with international market.

“As we have to bear huge subsidy during import, we did not reduce the price of fuel oil though international market reduced the price,” he explained.
