DHAKA: A two-day international conference on Bangladesh readymade garment (RMG) sector will be held at Harvard University of the USA.

The conference will begin on June 5.

Harvard University South Asia Institute and Harvard University Center for the Environment and International Sustainable Development Institute (ISDI), Inc will jointly organize the conference titled ‘Transformation Challenges and Opportunity for Bangladesh Garment Industry’.

The conference will discuss about the existing challenges and sustainable development in Bangladesh RMG sector.

A good number of government and non-government organizations, experts, trade union members and representatives from several UN organizations will participate in the conference.
