DHAKA: Ahead of placement of budget for 2015-16 fiscal, investors witnessed mixed trend in early hours of trading of the country’s bourses on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 0.74 points to stand at 4586.09 at 12:39 pm.

Trade deals stood at 53271with transaction at Tk 2335.16  million.

Of the issues traded, 107 advanced, 135 declined and 45 remained unchanged.

SUMITPOWER     topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 261.48 million having changed hands during the time.

Besides, Chittagong stocks’ Selective Categories Index climbed up to 8606.00 by gaining over 3.07 points at 12:21 pm.

Out of the issues traded, 70 gained, 81 declined and 2 remained unchanged.
