Stocks see fall Wednesday

DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall in its price indices on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 32.21 points only to stand at 4457.24 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 93163 with volume of transactions at Tk 3728.07 million.

Of the issues traded, 114 advanced, 160 declined and 41 remained unchanged.

BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 177 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were IFADAUTOS, LAFSURCEML, SQURPHARMA, GP, BEXIMCO, UPGDCL, UNITEDAIR, AFCAGRO and FAMILYTEX.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8372.31 by dropping over 48.17 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 62 gained, 135 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
