DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 29.76 points only to stand at 4531.98 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 101645 with volume of transactions at Tk 4283.05 million.

Of the issues traded, 197 advanced, 88 declined and 32 remained unchanged.

OAL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 207.59 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, BXPHARMA, SQURPHARMA, GP, BEXIMCO, KPCL, AFCAGRO, ACIFORMULA and SUMITPOWER.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8491.21 by gaining over 75.31 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 155 gained, 61 declined and 66 remained unchanged.
