DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 60.52 points only to stand at 4862.55 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 167299 with volume of transactions at Tk 8117.14 million.

Of the issues traded, 201 advanced, 82 declined and 36 remained unchanged.

APOLOISPAT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 290.97 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, LAFSURCEML, BXPHARMA, JAMUNAOIL, KPCL, BEXIMCO, SHASHADNIM, TITASGAS     and UPGDCL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9076.18 by gaining over 98.18 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 149 gained, 80 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
