FROM CHITTAGONG:  Bangladesh Denim Expo means visit of a good number of apparel entrepreneurs, businessmen, fashion professionals and stakeholders of the industry from Europe, US, UK and several Asian countries.

Organizer expects thousand jeans and denim related companies will participate in the 2-day event to be held from 11th November to the 12th November 2015 at the Bashundhara Convention City.

This event will showcases products like laundry and washing equipments, auxiliaries, dyes specialty chemicals, to that of denim fabrics, and garments associated with this field etc. in the Apparel & Clothing, Lifestyle & Fashion industries.

A total of 25 stalls were set up in last Denim Expo. This time, numbers of Stall have been doubled, said Expo committee member Sarwar Jahan.

He further said that in previous event held on May 11-12, 763 denim and jeans related manufacturers and enterprises from 40 countries including the USA, Spain, Japan, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, China, San Marino and host Bangladesh took part.

Online registration for the expo is going on from July 1.

Regarding security issue of participants, Expo committee told banglanews, Bangladesh Denim Expo is not open to all. It is an event for authorized trade visitors only.

In the interest of our exhibitors and for the protection of the Expo, we are principally only able to invite visitors who show clear proof of affiliation with the Denim industry, they added.

On receiving the registration form, Bangladesh Denim Expo Technical Team will verify all data and details before confirming the registration.

After verification, the Expo authority will issue an invitation letter to selected visitors through email and visitors must bring the invitation letter at the time of arrival at expo.
