DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hour’s trading on Thursday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 7.75 points or 0.15 per cent to 4859.83 after the first half-hour of trade at 11:06am.

Trade deals stood at 12606 with volume of transactions at Tk 533.09 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 120 advanced, 72 declined and 50 remained unchanged.



FARCHEM was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 91.45 million changing hands till then followed by SAPORTL, APOLOISPAT, UNIQUEHRL, SAIFPOWER and EHL.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 20.64 points to 9055.77, also at 11:06am.

Of the issues traded till then, 52 gained, 31 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
