DSE, CSE up at opening

DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses witnessed upward trend in early hours of trading on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.
   
DSEX, the Broad Index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained by 22.88 points or 0.47 per cent to 4832.15 after the first 44-minute of trade at 11:14am.

Trade deals stood at 23958 with volume of transactions at Tk 1058.86 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 178 advanced, 52 declined and 32 remained unchanged.



APEXTANRY was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 58.02 million changing hands till then followed by FARCHEM, SALAMCRST, CENTRALPHL, NFML and RSRMSTEEL.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed positive trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 40.90 points to 9004.42, also at 11:16am.

Of the issues traded till then, 94 gained, 29 declined and eight remained unchanged.
