4th BAPA FoodPro Int’l Expo begins Nov 24

DHAKA: The 4th Edition of BAPA FoodPro International Expo is going to be held from November 24-26 at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) with two concurrent expo named “6th Agro Bangladesh Expo 2016” and “3rd Rice & Graintech Expo Bangladesh”.

Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) and Extreme Exhibition and Event Solution Ltd. (E3 Solutions) will jointly organize the expo.

The expo will remain open for all based on pre-registration and spot registration and time for the expo will be 10.00 am to 7.00 pm.

Exhibitors from 13 different countries including Japan, Netherland, Spain, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Germany, Thailand and Korea will exhibit in more than 200 stalls.

The expo will consist of exhibition of products and services from the mentioned sectors along with technical session.

Technical sessions will be conducted by experts of this sector.

The 4th BAPA FoodPro International Expo 2016 is Bangladesh’s only show on food products, food processing & packaging products and machineries.

BAPA was found in 1998 with 13 members with some specific objectives such as, to protect, develop, support and promote all measures and steps toward growing, producing, processing, manufacturing and marketing at home and abroad of all agricultural items to includes fruits, vegetables, horticultural products, field crops, mushrooms, dairy, poultry and fisheries etc. in Bangladesh, and to coordinate the efforts of the members of the Association to this end.

It also intends to establish a non-profit organization that will bring together and represent processors of all types of agricultural products and supporting industries to include field crops, horticultural items, mushrooms, fruits and vegetables, dairy & poultry, fisheries & other agricultural items.

Currently, BAPA consists 479 members who are exporting into 140 nations worldwide with an export value of USD 200 Million which is expected to rise above USD 1 Billion by the year 2021.
