DHAKA: The benchmark indices of the country’s two bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in the opening hours on Monday (November 28), the second trading session of week.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, acquired over 7.77 points and 0.16 percent to stand at 4794.34 at 12:41 pm.

Trade deals stood at 79,964 with transaction at Tk 3665.87 million.

Of the issues traded, 175 advanced, 101 declined and 40 remained unchanged.

Bangladesh Export Import Company Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 177.47 million having changed hands till then.

Chittagong stocks also followed the trend, as CSCX, the prime index, went up to 8975.36 by gaining over 17.91 points at 12:33 pm.

Out of the issues traded, 114 gained, 75 declined and 30 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 214.52 million.
