DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices in the opening hours on Sunday (December 4).

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 6.93 points or 0.14 percent to stand at 4829.95 points at 12:30 pm.

Trade deals stood at 79,136 with a transaction over Tk 3892.48 million. Of the issues traded, 143 advanced, 101 declined and 73 remained unchanged.

Bangladesh Building Systems Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 245.28 million having changed hands till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, acquired over 12.59 points to stand at 9035.85 points till 12:27 pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 104 gained, 67 declined and 40 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 190.17 million.
