DHAKA: Bangladesh Bank (BB) has rescheduled the public holiday for Banks and financial institutions on Tuesday (December 13) instead of Monday (December 12) on the occasion of Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi.

The BB issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (December 11) and sent it to the chief executive officers of all banks and other financial institutions.

National Moon Sighting Committee decided to mark the Eid-e-Miladunnabi on December 13 as the moon of Rabiul Awal of 1438 Hijri was not sighted in Bangladesh.
