DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –witnessed gain in share price indices on Wednesday (March 8), the fourth day of the trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 27.49 points or 0.48 percent to stand at 5649.98 points at the end of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 184,437 with the transaction over Tk 13021.14 million. Of the issues traded, 114 advanced, 175 declined and 41 remained unchanged.

LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 716.62 million having changed hands on the day.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 50.13 points to stand at 10607.01 points.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 104 gained, 121 declined and 32 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 843.37 million.
