DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices on Monday (March 13), the second day of the trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 8.89 points or 0.15 percent to stand at 5685.15 points at 12:25 pm.

Trade deals stood at 80,740 with the transaction over Tk 5096.30 million. Of the issues traded, 160 advanced, 107 declined and 51 remained unchanged.

Bangladesh Export Import Company Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 261.58 million having changed hands till filing the report.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 10.20 points to stand at 10669.29 points at 12:22 pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 98 gained, 88 declined and 25 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 290.96 million.
