DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed gain in share price indices in the opening hours on Tuesday (April 11), the third session of the trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 27.51 points or 0.48 percent to stand at 5717.18 points at 11:44 am.

Trade deals stood at 38,805 with the transaction over Tk 2675.94 million. Of the issues traded, 186 advanced, 65 declined and 36 remained unchanged.

LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 262.32 million having changed till filing the report.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 63.68 points to stand at 10748.08 points at 11:43 am.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 112 gained, 40 declined and 14 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 102.44 million.
