DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing loss share price indices in the opening hours on Thursday (April 13), the fifth session of the trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 4.94 points or 0.08 percent to stand at 5641.43 points at 1:08 pm.

Trade deals stood at 56,802 with the transaction over Tk 3148.44 million. Of the issues traded, 119 advanced, 138 declined and 51 remained unchanged.

Paramount Textiles Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 135.05 million having changed till filing the report.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 4.16 points to stand at 10604.30 points at 1:04 pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 78 gained, 96 declined and 27 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 179.21 million.
