DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall again in its price indices on Wednesday (Dec 12), the fourth trading session of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 9.92 points only to stand at 5265.84 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 133,058 with volume of transactions at Tk 4,873.93 million.

Of the issues traded, 163 advanced, 128 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

JMI Syringes & Medical Devices Ltd topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 152.13 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were Meghna Life Insurance Company Limited, Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd, SK Trims & Industries Ltd, BFS Thread Dying Limited, Al-Haj Textile Mills Ltd, Water Chemicals Limited, Sonali Aansh Industries Limited, Advent Pharma Ltd and ML Dying Limited.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Overall Share Index (CASPI) climbing down to 16,159.70 by dropping over 3.19 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 116 gained, 92 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
